In Luke, the first recorded act of Jesus after His resurrection was a walk with a couple of friends – two disciples who are disoriented because the story they thought they were in didn’t come to pass. In this Emmaus walk, we see a framework for understanding the ups and downs of our spiritual journey, and how Jesus walks with us each step of the way. (Luke 24:13-35)
